Edith Lee Steere died young.
She was born on the Oryx while her parents were sailing from England to Western Australia.
- On the 16th April, at sea, on board the Oryx, Mrs J. G. Lee Steere, of a daughter.[1]
- DIED AT Perth, on the morning of the 1st Inst., EDITH ANNE, infant daughter of James G. Lee Steere, Esq. aged 8 months and 15 days.[2]
